Moulage

This project is based on the creating and developing of an experimental piece of clothing using the moulage technique, working on top of a mannequin.​ The other premise was to add some volume expanding through the body, taking advantage of wrinkles, drapping, pleats. 

 

The result, was a short dress built from asymmetrical, organic-looking folds and wrinkles. The silhouette is tube-style at the bottom, adapted to the shape of the body and with diagonal and horizontal folds; and the top part is word of honor style with a peak in the center.
